Floor Heating – Nuheat
Nuheat Floor Heating Systems are ideal room specific heat source options for both new construction or renovation projects. These easy-to install systems are available for a range of floor surfaces, including tile, stone and laminate/engineered wood floors. From standard cable, mesh and mat floor heating solutions to cable solutions with uncoupling membrane or made-to-order custom mats, we have designed our products to make it easy for you to install them.
Radiant electric floor heating is more comfortable than other systems.
It feels warmer because the heat is delivered where you live—near the floor. Since all surfaces in the room are also being heated, there are no cold objects to draw heat from you and make you feel cold. Radiant heated floors do not blow dust and allergens around and provides an improved room climate with healthier humidity levels.
Standard Mat
Nuheat standard mats (squares and rectangles) are ideal for most room layouts. Nuheat Mats are 1/8″ thick, easy to install, energy efficient, and can be controlled using a variety of programmable and non-programmable thermostat options. Nuheat Standard Mats come in over 70 sizes of squares and rectangles of various dimensions. Simply pick the size of the mat(s) that fits the desired heating area. Because the heating wire is embedded in the Nuheat Standard Mat and does not need to be configured during installation, the heat coverage is guaranteed to be consistent throughout the desired heating area..
Custom Mat
When full coverage cannot be achieved with Nuheat standard mats (example: rooms with angles or curved walls), custom mats provide optimal coverage. Once dimensions are confirmed, a custom mat is manufactured to fit the exact dimensions of the area. Nuheat custom mats are 1/8″ thick, easy to install, energy efficient, and can be controlled using a variety of programmable and non-programmable thermostat options. 15 watts/sq ft; 51 BTUs/sq ft also available upon request.
Cable System
Nuheat Cable is a floor heating system that allows contractors to instantly make on-site adjustments to the floor heating coverage for any room including those with curves and angles. Nuheat Cable can be also used to heat wet areas such as shower beds and benches or saunas. Nuheat Cable provides the most on-site flexibility. Kits come in 33 sizes. Choose the cable kit that is best suited for the size of room/area and configure on-site to provide floor heat in the desired areas of the room.
Mesh
Nuheat Mesh is an electric on-site adjustable “strip and roll” solution best suited for square or rectangular areas, for installation under tile, stone, and laminate/engineered wood floors. The Nuheat Mesh floor heating system includes a red heating cable attached to an adhesive-backed red fiberglass mesh that allows for simple roll-out installation and on-site adjustments. Nuheat Mesh kits comes in 32 sizes. Nuheat Mesh can be controlled using the same programmable and non-programmable thermostat options as Nuheat Mats.
Cable Membrane
Nuheat Membrane is a tile underlayment and uncoupling system that is specificallydesigned to embed and hold the industry-leading Nuheat Cable floor heating system. The low profile Nuheat Membrane reduces the stress caused by differential movement between the tile layer and the substrate which can lead to tile cracking. When integrated with Nuheat Cable, the Nuheat Membrane system is a best-in-class integrated uncoupling, waterproofing, and floor heating solution.
Nuheat Cable can be controlled using the same programmable and non-programmable thermostat options.
Thermostats
SIGNATURE: The industry’s first WiFi enabled floor heating thermostat. The programmable thermostat can be controlled using a mobile smart phone app (iOS and Android) or web browser.
